Salman Khan Residence Firing Case: Lawrence Bishnoi's Brother Anmol Bishnoi Offered Shooters Rs 4 Lakhs - REPORTS
The investigation into the shooting incident outside the residence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is intensifying as authorities dig deeper into the case. The crime branch has deployed four teams to New Delhi, Bihar, Gujarat, and Rajasthan to pursue leads and gather further evidence. The initial reports about the attack, which involved bike riders firing shots at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, led to two arrests. Recent developments have linked the incident to Anmol Bishnoi, brother of notorious criminal Lawrence Bishnoi. Sources claim that Anmol Bishnoi had been in communication with two individuals, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, via internet calls. These suspects were allegedly promised a substantial sum, including an advance payment of Rs 1 lakh and an additional Rs 3 lakhs upon completion of their mission. During the investigation, the suspects' use of their phones to stay in touch with Bishnoi alerted law enforcement to their activities. The focus has now shifted to identifying those who supplied the weapon used in the attack. A police officer, speaking to the news agency PTI, stated that the suspects conducted a reconnaissance of Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel. Their primary intention was to intimidate Khan, not harm him. The officer also mentioned that both families' statements had been recorded in Bihar, and around seven individuals from Haryana and other states were called in for questioning, which is still ongoing.

Anmol Bishnoi gained notoriety after claiming responsibility for the shooting outside Salman Khan's residence in a Facebook post. Although Bishnoi is reportedly in Canada, the suspects Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta fled from Mumbai to Bhuj soon after the incident. Despite their efforts to evade law enforcement by frequently changing SIM cards during their journey, technical surveillance exposed their consistent communication pattern, leading to their arrest on Sunday.

As the investigation progresses, authorities aim to piece together the motives and connections behind the attack while ensuring that all parties involved face justice.
